Dr. Safia Ahmed Hassouna Announces the Official Addition of Applebee’s to Egy Florida Royalty Group
Dr. Safia Ahmed Hassouna, Chairwoman of Egy Florida Royalty Group, and the exclusive franchise holder of the global brand IHOP in Egypt, announced that the company has officially acquired the franchise rights of the international restaurant brand Applebee’s from Dine Brands, headquartered in California, United States.
With this remarkable achievement, Egy Florida Royalty Group becomes the entity that brings together two iconic global restaurant brands—IHOP and Applebee’s—under one roof in Egypt, through an innovative and fast-growing concept. This model offers guests a unique dining experience featuring a wide variety of international dishes, all within a stunning ambiance and elegant design, while fully preserving the distinctive identity of each brand.
Dr. Hassouna explained that Applebee’s is one of the largest restaurant chains worldwide, operating more than 2,000 locations across various countries, reflecting the brand’s global strength and the trust it enjoys among consumers.
She added that the official opening will take place on Thursday, December 25, at 6:00 PM, at Cairo Festival City, expressing her great pride in the significant and rapid growth achieved by Egy Florida Royalty Group in recent years.
Dr. Hassouna concluded by emphasizing that this expansion aligns with the company’s vision to support the national economy by creating new job opportunities for Egyptian youth and contributing to the advancement of the food and beverage sector in accordance with the highest international standards.
