For the fisrtime in Egypt Last night, the iconic Pyramids of Giza witnessed a truly historic global event — the launch of GRAMMY House Giza, marking the first-ever international edition of the GRAMMY House outside the United States.
This multi-day celebration brings together artists, producers, and songwriters from around the world to honor musical creativity and cultural exchange — a beautiful harmony between modern art and ancient heritage in the heart of Egypt.

The opening night featured breathtaking performances by legendary composer Omar Khairat and renowned artist Carole Samaha, blending Egyptian authenticity with modern elegance against the stunning backdrop of the Pyramids.
The event represents a milestone partnership between the Recording Academy, Titan Capital (Japan), and Global Entertainment Holdings, reflecting the Academy’s growing commitment to expand across Africa and the Middle East.
Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. stated:
“Seeing the GRAMMY House come to life at the Pyramids is a milestone moment in our global journey — a celebration of creativity that unites artists, innovators, and fans around the world.”

As an Egyptian living in Canada, I couldn’t be prouder to see my country shine on the global stage, hosting such a world-class event under the timeless gaze of the Pyramids — proving once again that Egypt is, and will always be, the land of art, culture, and inspiration.
