Rotary Club of Montreal District 7040 – Monthly Gathering

Written by Nour Sobhy
The monthly gathering of the Rotary Club of Montreal, District 7040, brought together members to discuss inspiring community initiatives and share meaningful insights for a better future.

The meeting began with an informative presentation by Dr. Sabrina Diab, who delivered an important lecture about neuropsychology and how to recognize the symptoms of ADHD, neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disabilities, dyspraxia, and autism. Her session provided valuable knowledge and emphasized the importance of awareness and early intervention.
In appreciation of her remarkable contribution, Dr. Diab was honored by the Club President, Me Bill Korbatly who presented her with a certificate of appreciation.

The gathering also featured an engaging discussion led by Tess Charpentier and Catherine (from Australia), who presented a new initiative ahead of the Christmas season — a project focused on helping people in need by providing warm winter clothing, supporting low-income families, and spreading joy during the holidays.
Members explored practical ways to address poverty and homelessness, reflecting the Rotary’s enduring commitment to compassion, unity, and community service.

A heartfelt thank-you to Tess Charpentier for her inspiring presentation andto all members who continue to make a positive impact in our co mmunity.
