Andrew Bechara Set to Launch His First Egyptian Album “Ayel Makhawy” on December 6

Lebanese–Canadian artist Andrew Bechara is preparing to unveil his debut album “Ayel Makhawy,” performed entirely in the Egyptian dialect—a new artistic venture that blends Eastern musical identity with a contemporary spirit. The album follows an extended production journey between Egypt and Canada, reflecting human stories and sincere emotions that present a distinct musical style in the artist’s career.

Production Team

The album’s lyrics were written by the Alexandrian poet Ahmed Saad, while Andrew composed all the songs himself.
Production, arrangement, mixing, and mastering were carried out by El Tim’z, with the participation of sound engineer Abdallah Mohsen – Dooby. The project also bridges Alexandria and Montreal through recording sessions completed by Gio-Z in Montreal and Dooby in Alexandria.
The work delivers a musical blend combining various styles such as Oriental pop, rock, and the tonal diversity that characterizes Andrew Bechara’s artistic identity.

Album Launch Event in Montreal

The album launch event will take place on December 6 in Montreal, under the patronage of the Egyptian-Canadian organization MASCAN, which supports emerging Arab talents.
This comes shortly after the album’s official release across all digital platforms on December 4.
The event will host artists, media figures, and guests from the Arab community, and will be held at Plaza Pointe-Claire in Pointe-Claire – Montreal.

About the Album

“Ayel Makhawy” is Andrew’s first album performed in the Egyptian dialect and includes nine tracks:
Ammal Agarrab – ʿAla Mahl – Ya ʿamm el-Hozn – Ayel Makhawy – Harfoosh – Azra’ Samawy – Hosan Rahwan – Wahed Gedeed – W Aghannilak

All lyrics were written by Ahmed Saad, and all compositions are by Andrew. Musical supervision and arrangement were completed entirely by El Tim’z, with recording and sound engineering shared between Alexandria and Montreal by Gio-Z & Dooby & El Tim’z.
The project was managed by Ahmed Mabrok (BigRock).
