Avast VPN Review

The Avast VPN application is easy to use, simple to use and comes with some good security features. But, it lacks some essential features, including a kill switch as well as split tunneling. Additionally, it doesn’t come with a built-in Ad-blocker. While it’s a great service overall but there are other options that offer better features for the price.

The Windows client offers a pleasant user interface that is well-known to those who have used Avast’s antivirus software. It’s easy to use and intuitive. The burger menu on the right hand side will take you to “Settings.” You can connect in a manual or automatic manner by clicking on the Change Location button. Then, you’ll get a list that is of connections categorized by region and function (P2P streaming, P2P).

Security is a shrewd choice with Avast VPN, thanks to its 256-bit AES encryption and the fact that it stops WebRTC leaks and DNS leaks. It also supports the highly secure OpenVPN protocol and has beta support for WireGuard which allows you to connect to locations that would otherwise block VPNs. It’s a great option for people who have intermittent internet connections.

Avast’s privacy policies are more transparent than many and doesn’t keep track of the IP address that you used to connect to or the websites you visit. However, it does keep track of the amount of data uploaded and downloaded during your session.

Avast VPN provides a 7-day trial for free and does not require credit card. You can then choose one three or two-year subscriptions for up to five devices at a time. It accepts PayPal, Perfect Money and credit cards but does not offer cash payments or cryptocurrencies.
